Courses:

Introduction to EFL Didactics: (Module II / Übung / 2 SWS)	Here you will get an overview of the most important aspects in this field of studies.
PS (Proseminar): (Module III/ Proseminar/2 SWS)	Here one major field that has been discussed in the introductory course will be looked at more closely. This seminar is part of Module III. A "Leistungsnachweis" can be obtained either in this seminar or in any of the other PS within this module. (Only for GHR)
Workshop: (Module VII / Praktikum / GHR: 2 SWS / Gym / Ges: 3 SWS)	This is your actual school practice part (80 hours) for which you will have to register at the "Praktikumsbüro". Your school you normally also find with the help of the "Praktikumsbüro" – in some cases (projects of different lecturers) the school will be provided. Often the Praktikumsbüro also accepts schools that students suggest. The essay (Praktikumsbericht) that you write about the school practice is the "Leistungsnachweis" for Module VII.
Kolloquium: (Module VII / Übung / 2SWS)	This is the seminar that accompanies the so-called Workshop. Here practical issues that will be of importance in the workshop, such as lesson planning and behaviour management, will be discussed.
English in the Classroom: (Module VII / Übung / 2SWS)	This is a language practice course within Module VII in which our aim is to raise your awareness with regard to how the different skills can be developed and how to focus on accuracy. The focus will not mainly be on your own continual language learning but rather on how to develop these skills and systems and how to manage language use in the classroom.
HS (Hauptseminar) Didactics: (Module VII / Hauptseminar / 2 SWS)	This is an advanced studies course that focuses on one of the following aspects: Language Learning & Technology Language Learning & Linguistics Language Learning & Literary/Authentic Texts Bilingual/Content and Language Integrated LearningNote: It is not possible to obtain a "Leistungsnachweis" in this course as you will get the Leistungsnachweis for Module VII through handing in an adequate "Praktikumsbericht"
