Interested in an empirical state examination thesis?
If you are interested in an empirical state examination thesis on learner language, this might be a good deal for you:
You would write your thesis in conjunction with a larger project for which a large amount of data was collected in July 2011 (pupils in year six at Gymnasium & Realschule). These data will be used for special research purposes but you can also analyse them for your thesis (students’ grammar or use/range of vocab or content or their mistakes or… there are many different options for quite a few people).
If you would like to know more about your options, please contact Mr Rumlich (dominik.rumlich@uni-due.de) or see him in his office (R12 R04 A09). There is no particular time frame; so if you are in doubt whether this option is still available: Just ask!
This is a great opportunity to carry out a highly relevant, exciting and very practical research project for your state examination thesis.
Don’t let it slip away!
