The online Diversity Portal of the University of Duisburg-Essen provides information on diversity management at the University of Duisburg-Essen as well as general information on the topic of diversity management, especially as it relates to universities.
The main topics addressed by the Diversity Portal are:

The various activities underway at the University in the area of diversity management are presented on the Diversity Portal. The Portal also offers an overview of the various services and counselling options available for different target groups, e.g. potential applicants to the university, students at the UDE, and both academic and non-academic staff. It also presents examples of "best practices" and data on various criteria used to evaluate diversity; this data applies specifically to students at the University of Duisburg-Essen.
The Portal also contains general information on diversity management. The topics discussed in detail include approaches to DM, strategies for achieving diversity, and the legal framework for diversity. Reference is made to the situation at universities. The Calendar of Events on the Portal calls attention to national and international meetings and conferences devoted to the subject of diversity.
