The University of Duisburg-Essen offers the student body of around 31,000 a broad academic spectrum with an international orientation - ranging from humanities and social sciences to economics, engineering and natural sciences (including medicine).
You can't do anything without a professor. In order to be admitted to a
doctoral programme, you must first find a university professor who is
prepared to supervise your doctoral studies. When you have found somebody, you can submit your certificates, your application for admission, and the confirmation of the supervising professor to the International Office.
