After the conference, presentations will be published as a special issue of the international journal Materials Science and Engineering Technology (Materialwissenschaften und Werkstofftechnik), published monthly by Wiley-VCH. Full original papers will be considered (no review articles and no short communications) and subjected to the usual Peer Review Process by at least 2 reviewers. Both oral contributions and posters will be considered for publication. Only submissions which were actually presented at the conference will be considered. Cancelled contributions will not be considered. The manuscript shall be prepared in standard English. Manuscripts with unsatisfactory English will be immediately returned to the authors for correction within one week.

The deadline for submission of full manuscripts is
November 1st, 2008.
Important: Contrary to the instructions, the manuscript must be submitted to gus@uni-due.de, and not tot the Journal Editor (Dr. Ellermeier). The manuscript will be fully handled in Essen.
