Reserch interests:
The focus of my research activity at the Institute of Energy and Environmental Technology (IUTA) is the development of mathematical model for the simulation of retention processes in HPLC.
At present there are a few modelling and simulation programs for optimization of temperature and gradient elutions available. However, there are no modelling and simulation programs which are able to perform a prediction on the basis of temperature and gradients. The aim of this work is to combine the simulation and modelling parameters in order to predict an optimal chromatogram for different HPLC applications and analytes. The developed method could be a helpful tool for structured method development.
