It is obligatory for German students to stay abroad for a period of 3 to 6 months.
During this time the students can:

  • participate in lectures at a university and earn credits by passing the examinations, or
  • work on their final thesis, or
  • do their industrial internship at a company to serve the obligatory professional practical training.
