Electronic and Optical Properties of Semiconducting Nanomaterials

Experimental methods will be developed to characterize semiconducting nanomaterials regarding their electrical and optical properties. A fundamental understanding of the elementary electronic processes on the microscopic level as well as the coupling between the nanoparticles are required to optimize the functional properties of these materials on the macroscopic level.
