This workshop covers the optical properties of semiconducting nanoparticles, charge transfer between them, charge injection and the dynamics and mechanisms of these processes as studied by theory and experiment. Related topics such as the function of dopands and surfaces / interfaces will also be addressed.

The workshop will be held in Duisburg on the 7th and 8th of December 2006 hosted by the "Research Training Group Nanotronics" and the "Collaborative Research Center Nanoparticles from the Gasphase" both funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG). The venue will be the Tectrum Tower in Bismarckstrasse 142, Duisburg.
