The Institute for Experimental Mathematics in Essen is a branch of the Duisburg-Essen University Library and holds a large number of mathetical texts (monographies, journals, congress reports).
The main topical areas range from algebra, number theory and analysis to programming languages and mathematical methods of data transmission. They are oriented towards the main research areas of the institute.
The location in the institute guarantees a rapid access to the literature, both for members of the Institutes and their guests. The University Library ensures a prompt provision of the latest materials.
The holdings of the insitute are not listed in a special catalogue but are designated in the online catalogue for the Essen campus with the location "E60" (not lendable).
The titles are arranged systematically in the so-called library room.
The library in the IEM is accessible at any time for all its staff. All copies can also be consulted by non-members of the institute after previous arrangement. Please contact:
