The university library was supplied with € 1.762.537 of tuition fees from central means in order to further improve the study conditions in the library.
The following measures have been achieved:
Acquisition of teaching and study literature in cooperation with the faculties and students of the departments:
- List of new acquisitions financed from tuition fees 2010, sorted according to subject and author
- List of new acquisitions financed from tuition fees 2010, sorted according to subject and title
Maintenance of the libraries' opening hours
Reduction of the flat rate charge for interlibrary loans
The in 2009 established reduced flat rate charge for interlibrary loans for students of the Duisburg-Essen University is still valid. The difference to the mandatory amount of € 1,50 is financed through this years tuition fees.
Continuation of the free Campus delivery service (CaLD),
which means placing an order for lendable and available media from the libraries of the other campus as well as the taking back of media of the other campus.
