Thames Water ist an weiteren Studenten interessiert:

For the past 2 years we have provided placements for 2 of your students, I believe that this arrangement was originally made with David Holt who has now left the company. I gather from earlier e-mails that you were told that we would not be offering placements this year. I am not sure where this information came from but it is incorrect. It is possibly too late now as this years students may be placed, but if not, we are able to offer placements to 2 students. We have found the past placements to be very useful for us and hopefully rewarding for the students as well. This year we are looking for at least 1, probably 2 students to work with our wastewater biofilm processes research group, mainly looking at IFAS processes and measurement of biological kinetic rates for nitrification and denitrification for different media types and process configurations.

Pete Pearce

Prof. Gary Amy, Unesco-IHE Institute for Water Education, Delft, Netherlands

"I have done this in the past with TUBstudent, with success. I would place them under a PhD student while stillproviding supervision. Topics include river bank filtration and membranefouling. There may be dormitory space available (about euro 400 per month)"

Kontakt zur Fa. Schweitzer
