The Centre for Empirical Educational Research (ZeB), newly founded in 2007, serves purposes of promotion, coordination and the realization of research projects which have to do with the main research area „Empirical Educational Research" of the University of Duisburg-Essen. The aim is to achieve an interdisciplinary cooperation between Educational Research, Psychology, Teaching Methodology and the Faculties.
In this context the ZeB supports the Junior Researchers regarding a qualification profile, which is based on the link between educational-scientific, psychological, didactical and specialist competences, and, most important, organises an interdisciplinary graduate education.
