I am a Marie Curie Research Fellow at the Number Theory Group of the Mathematics Institute of the University of Warwick, UK.
Prior to this, I held post-doctoral positions at the
Algebra and Geometry Group of the University of Barcelona, and at the
Arithmetic Geometry Group of University of Duisburg-Essen.
I also held visiting positions at the
Max Planck Institute for Mathematics, Bonn,
Hausdorff Institute for Mathematics, Bonn,
Institute for Experimental Mathematics, Essen,
Mathematical Sciences Research Institue, Berkeley.
I finished my PhD at the UW-Madison in 2008 under the supervision of Nigel Boston.

RESEARCH:

I am interested in algebraic number theory, cohomology of arithmetic groups and Kleinian groups, automorphic forms, modularity of abelain varieties and Galois representations. I particularly work with the latter in the setting of imaginary quadratic fields, especially from a computational perspective.

1. Some Applications of Number Theory to 3-Manifolds Theory ,   Extended notes of a talk I gave at the Geometric Topology Seminar
of the MPIM on applications of number theory and automorphic forms to 3-manifolds theory.

2. Notes on Serre's Paper on Images of Galois Representations of Elliptic Curves ,   Mostly a (free) translation of some parts of Serre's 1972 Inventiones Paper
"Propriétés galoisiennes des points d'ordre fini des courbes elliptiques". I added some small explanations and a small appendix.

3. A survey of Serre's Conjecture over imaginary quadratic fields

4. The deformation theory of Galois representations ,   in "The Proof of Fermat's Last Theorem" by Nigel Boston et. al.

BIANCHI MODULAR FORMS:

Bianchi modular forms (not a widely used name) are modular forms for GL(2) over imaginary quadratic fields. I am interested in both characteristic 0 and mod p aspects of these forms.

Here is a manuscript on Bianchi modular forms. It is taken from Chapter 1 and Chapter 7 of my thesis.

Here is a poster explaining some MAGMA programs I wrote to compute Bianchi modular forms and the Hecke action on them.
