South Africa with its thousands of kilometres of beaches,
mountains, wide planes, its wildlife, its great metropolises, its .... (I think it's enough)
offers you everything what you dreamed of for your holiday of a
lifetime.
An example: Somerset Wes/t
the
yearly average temperature is 64° F. Even the coldest winter since 62 years
(July 1996) could only lower the temperature (at night) to 34° F.
To compare the sum of sunshine hours per year:
- London 1480 h/year (no surprise, it'
permanently raining there)
- Rom 2360 h/year (surprise, the Italians
think they have much sun)
- Hawaii 2450 h/year (and you thought
that's a world record?!)
- Cape Town 2980 h/year
that are 8 hours and 8 minutes per every day during the year - Pretoria (South Africa) 3240 h/year
(incredible, that are nearly 9 hours)
That's why the tourism board of South Africa is using the
banner:
It is sunny today
in South Africa
