Arrival in Cape Town

You have to hand out your passport and your back flight-ticket to the immigration officer. They do not longer ask if you have enough money in posession. Don't ask me why they are changing the rules permanently. Be sure that you got all information before the flight!!

For handicapped people is a special counter available!

In front of all counters is a thick yellow line, which you should only pass when the officer at the counter gives you a notice. That is part of the South African way of granting personal freedom. Especially in the early morning is everybody thankful for a friendly smile. After the counter proceed to the luggage belts. Get one of the trolleys. They are free of charge. Use the customs exit with the green sign if you have nothing to declare. Please obey the rules and laws for immigrants and tourists. Do not try any tricks. A south african jail is not a nice place to stay.
