Small points on varieties Evelina Viada-Aehle Abstract: In joint work with F. Amoroso we give a new simplified proof of an effective Bogomolov Conjecture. We describe, in an effective way, the Zaristki closure of the points on a variety of height bounded by different invariants. This result has some interesting applications, for instance to the number of tori contained in a variety and to the number of zeros in a linear recurrence sequence.
