Protective measures and workplace design

Reduced regular operation

  • 07.05.2020

The UDE has begun to carefully relax the strict restrictions and to convert its minimal operation into reduced regular operation. Health protection for employees and students remains a top priority.

In order to be able to guarantee this, the Rectorate adopted an "Operational measures concept - protective measures and workplace design for working during the SARS-CoV2 epidemic" on 6 May.

This concept defines the current framework for working at the university. However, due to the great diversity of activities and the spatial conditions within the UDE, managers in the individual departments must ensure that its implementation is adapted to decentralised needs. The specialists for occupational safety are happy to help with this.

As the legal requirements are constantly changing, it is necessary to continually update the operational measures concept. The current status can be found on the UDE website.
