Curriculum Vitae

Kathrin Luckmann de Lopez completed her M.A. of English, Spanish Linguistics and Sociology at University Duisburg-Essen and University College Cork, Ireland, with a major in English Linguistics. During her studies she worked as student assistant for the German Association for Applied Linguistics (GAL), the International Office (AAA), Westdeutscher Rundfunk (WDR) and gave English classes at evening school (VHS). She is happy to be teaching a combination of Cultural Studies and Linguistics and spends her time outside lectures contemplating future research projects and with the university's English drama group DUET.
