ZWU Young Scientist Award (YSA)

For the twelfth time, the Centre for Water and Environmental Research (ZWU) awards the Young Scientists Award for outstanding theses of Master's students and early career researchers. The deadline for nominations is 15 January 2020.

The prize is awarded to scientifically exceptional Master's, diploma and state examination theses as well as doctoral theses completed at the University of Duisburg-Essen in 2019. Theses from all faculties are admitted, but an important criterion is a close relationship to the ZWU's research topics. Candidates for the YSA can be nominated by habilitated members as well as junior professors, ZWU members entitled to take exams and supervisors.
