Programme for the promotion of excellent early career researchers
The aim of the UDE-internal measure is to lead outstanding early career researchers to their first own third-party funding proposal with this initial funding.
Gottschalk-Diederich-Baedeker-Preis
The Gottschalk-Diederich-Baedeker-Preis of the Essen-based G. D. Baedeker Foundation is awarded for outstanding work by early career researchers at the University of Duisburg-Essen who dedicate themselves to exciting topics of high relevance and achieve excellence in the field of research and technology transfer. Researchers from all disciplines who are in the postdoctoral phase, lead a junior research group or hold a junior professorship can be nominated. The award is endowed with 5,000 €. Patron of the award is the Lord Mayor of the City of Essen.
