Strengthening Competencies, Fostering Opportunities
Graduate Center Plus (GC Plus) supports the faculties and institutions of the University of Duisburg-Essen (UDE) in optimally promoting early career researchers.
As an interdisciplinary service institution, we bundle information on all aspects of doctoral and postdoctoral research and show the wide range of support and qualification offers at the UDE. We also offer individual counselling and a varied workshop programme as well as information and career events.
Benefit from our strong networks within the UDE and beyond: We are proud to be part of Research Academy Ruhr (RAR), the cross-university platform for promoting early career researchers in the University Alliance Ruhr (UA Ruhr), and are involved in national and international networks.
GC Plus is located in the Science Support Centre (SSC) of the UDE and reports to the Vice Rectorate for Research, Career Development and Knowledge Transfer. The GC Plus Scientific Directorate is responsible for strategic management.
