Networking through your doctorate!

Are you a doctoral researcher at the UDE and would like to achieve a specific goal in the next twelve months? Get support and motivation through our Peer Mentoring programme! Take the opportunity to sharpen your career strategy, finalize your application for a fellowship, or even initiate a completely new project in dialogue with fellow doctoral candidates.

During the twelve months of the programme you will

  • work on a self-chosen goal,
  • build up an interdisciplinary network at the UDE,
  • exchange ideas with other doctoral candidates,
  • improve your time and self-management,
  • get tips from experts,
  • and reflect on your professional career.

The next Peer Mentoring cohort will start in January 2022 and end in December 2022.

Programme elements

  • In the framework programme, you will review the status of your goals and plan the next steps together with your peers and the coordinator.
  • In networking sessions, you will receive input from experts on your concerns.
  • In smaller peer groups, you will meet in a self-organized way.

The programme is offered in German or English according to the participants' preference.
