In this preparatory course, an in-depth understanding of the automotive industry and expected changes in it will be provided. The course will start with an analysis of automotive companies and their environment. After that, the current automotive value chain will be analyzed: the value chains of suppliers, manufacturers and after-sales and service companies. Finally, changes in the automotive value chains will be discussed.

Educational objective:

Students will become familiar with the economics of the automotive industry and will understand how the value chains of the suppliers, automotive manufacturers and service companies (e.g. repair workshops, banks, insurance companies and filling stations) are connected and how they are changing.

Course achievement:

Written examination, duration 60 min.
