Prof. Heberer has been involved with China in academic and professional capacity the past 30 years and he has, during this time, accumulated a wealth of research experience. In five individual lectures during the winter term 2019/20, he will share his profound knowledge about research on and fieldwork in China with the audience.
The session topics cover a number of different pressing issues faced by China and the world and they focus on fieldwork methods employed and research results gained by Prof. Heberer throughout his work. We expect that all participants will profit greatly from his expertise in empirically grounded and theory-driven research and hope for a fruitful exchange of ideas in the discussion part of each session.
