A Successful Case of a Foreign M&A in Japan
Employee Perceptions on their Job Identification
Date: Tuesday, August 18, 2015, 14.00–15.30 h
Venue: Building SG, Room SG 183, Geibelstraße 41, 47057 Duisburg
Abstract: We conducted an empirical questionnaire study of one single cross-border M&A in Japan. This deal can be seen as a success because target firm employees identify positively to their job after getting taken over. We can show that target firm employees even outperform bidder firm employees in their job identification. Implications are to be discussed at the presentation.
