First EU-Korea Brussels Policy Forum (BPF) Nov. 25–26, 2013
The EU-Korea Institute at the Free University of Brussels (VUB) in cooperation with the European Commission organized the first EU-Korea Brussels Policy Forum (BPF) in order to celebrate the 50th anniversary and brainstorm the future of European Union-Republic of Korea relations.
The BPF on “A New Global Agenda for the EU-Korea Partnership” took place in Brussels from November 25–26, 2013.
The University of Duisburg-Essen/IN-EAST is a consortium member of the project. Werner Pascha gave a presentation on "Korea’s Quest for a Creative Economy and the Role of EU-Korea Cooperation" and chaired the session on “Regional Integration: the EU-Korea FTA and Northeast Asia Economic Integration (Korea, Japan and China)”.
