Prof. Dr. Kanji Tanimoto von der Hitotsubashi University, Tokyo, wird am
Mittwoch, den 7. Juli 2010 um 16 Uhr, Raum LE 736,
einen Vortrag zum Thema "CSR and Corporate Governance" halten.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has been booming since around 2003 in Japan and institutionalization of CSR has been rapidly developed in most Japanese corporations. For instance, more than 60 % of listed companies have established a CSR department. But do they understand CSR precisely and do the institutions in the organizations function well? It will be discussed how Japanese companies embed CSR into their core management process.
