Alexandra Roland

Alexandra Roland is a doctoral research fellow and a teaching assistant at the Institute of East Asian Studies. Her research focuses mainly on Zainichi-related issues as well as South Korea-Japan and North Korea-Japan relations. She mainly conducts research in German, French, English, Spanish and Japanese and is currently learning Chinese and Korean to further support her future research. In November 2020 she was a presenter at the EU-Japan Workshop / 2020 International New Generation Workshop on the topic of Multiplicity and Diversity of Culture and Language: Japan in a Global Context.
