Diana Schüler

Diana Schüler graduated from the University of Bonn with a degree in Economics (B.Sc.) in 2010. After that, she gained one year of working experience in Germany as well as in South Korea. In 2011, she continued studying economics at the University of Bonn where she attained her Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in 2013. In her Master’s thesis she analyzed youth unemployment dynamics. Being inspired from her experience in Korea, she also pursued a B.A. in Asian Studies. She completed this degree in 2014 with a thesis about the Creative Economy in Korea. Before joining the research group in October 2015, she worked in the private sector for about one year. In her recently completed PhD project she tied her previous interests together by examining the role of risk preferences and institutions in the context of current entrepreneurial activities and increasing youth unemployment in Korea.
