Qi Yachao studied clinical medicine at Hebei Medical University from 1995 to 2000, where she received her bachelor's degree, and in 2010, she obtained his master's degree in rehabilitation from Hebei Medical University. Her diploma thesis focused on limb recovery after ischemia. In recent years, she has worked in the field of headache and stroke. Since November 2018, she is pursuing a MD in Neurosciencelab in vascular neurology, dementia and aging research under the supervision of Prof. Dirk Hermann.
Research interests

Within her MD thesis Yachao Qi studied post-ischemic revascularization, establishing the three-dimensional structure and analysis of blood vessels.
