Ordinance on the organisation of studies

A lot to regulate

  • 14.05.2020

Studying is a challenge for everyone. The crisis demands solutions that can be relied upon with legal certainty. There is a lot of work behind the legal requirements that the UDE has now created and for which students in particular have been waiting impatiently: All examination regulations have been adapted; in addition, the regulations for implementing the Corona Epidemic University Ordinance have been issued. It is based on a corresponding state regulation.

Behind the long name are important regulations at the UDE concerning study courses, admissions and examinations. Above all, the ordinance defines flexible teaching and examination formats, free trial and repeat opportunities, an extended standard period of study and extended compensation for disadvantages.

It is intended to ensure a functioning university operation and help to overcome the challenges that have arisen or are arising as a result of the corona crisis. The UDE Regulation has been in force since 14 May.
