Stefan Mandl

I have been studying philosophy at the University of Duisburg-Essen since 2011. In 2016, I did my Bachelor’s here at Essen under the supervision of Oliver Hallich and Neil Roughley. I am the teaching assistant for the latter’s lectures Introduction to Philosophical Anthropology.
My primary philosophical interests lie in the nature of rationality. This is also what my current work focuses on. It will be the topic of two forthcoming talks:

  • Against Cognitivism about Intention Rationality” (2018/7 Workshop “Rationality: Epistemic and Practical Perspectives”, Ruhr-University Bochum)
  • Against Cognitivism about Intention Rationality” (2018/8 Conference “Open Minds XIII”, University of Manchester)
