Dissertation Project

Ruben Langer is doctoral candidate in the project BIG RISKS. Perceptions and Management of Neuralgic Societal Risks in the 21st Century, funded by the FUNK-Foundation. He is especially interested in “paradoxes of collective responsibility” in the context of climate change.

Ruben Langer is research associate at the chair for political philosophy. He studied philosophy, physics, sociology and history in Berlin, Frankfurt and Granada. He finished his studies in 2015 with a thesis on “Selflessness. An Intepretation of the First Section of the Groundwork of the Metaphysic of Morals.
