Approaches to cultural diversity in educational contexts
Gabriel Horenczyk ist J. Robert Fisher Professor und Chair des Department of Education an der Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
Seine Schwerpunkte in Forschung und Lehre sind:
•         Psychologische Aspekte kultureller und ethnischer Identität
•         Identität und Anpassung von Einwanderern
•         Immigranten in Schulen 
•         Kulturelle Anpassung in Schulen
•         Religiosität, Spiritualität und Identität
Als Leiter des israelischen Teams der ICSEY-Studie (International Comparative Study of Ethnocultural Youth) führt Professor Horenczyk momentan eine vergleichende Studie zu offenkundigem und verdecktem Dropout bei Einwanderern durch. Darüber hinaus ist er regionaler Repräsentant und Mitglied des Exekutiv-Komitees der International Association of Cross-Cultural Psychology.
