Seminar Announcement
3D printing meets 2D Materials, Impurities and Single Atom Catalysts
3D printing is a revolutionary technology that enables the creation of complex structures layer by layer, offering applications in various industries from healthcare to construction. When combined with 2D materials, such as graphene, the potential for creating lightweight, strong, and highly conductive and electroactive components expands significantly. When 2D materials, such MoS2 are added, its potential as electrocatalyst multiplies. Single-atom catalysts (SACs) exhibit enhanced catalytic activity by utilizing individual metal atoms dispersed on a support, offering high efficiency and selectivity in chemical reactions. Controlling impurities and defects is essential for optimizing SAC performance. We will discuss their influence on performance of 3D printed electrodes.
