Lecture | College for Social Sciences and Humanities | UA Ruhr
This lecture gives insights into the influence of emerging new technologies such as artificial intelligence on educational policies, learning processes and teaching settings. The speaker Muzaffer Özdemir, Professor of Computer Education and Instructional Technology at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University (Turkey), argues that a human-centered approach to integrating AI is needed, where technology does not replace educators but supports them.

The lecture is organised by Barış Uslu, who is Professor of Higher Education Policy and Management at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University (Turkey) and currently a Senior Fellow at the College, and by Liudvika Leišytė, Professor of Higher Education Research at TU Dortmund University.
