ERC Brunch
The European Research Council (ERC) offers attractive funding opportunities for groundbreaking project ideas from outstanding researchers. As part of the ERC Brunch, the Science Support Center offers an opportunity to find out about EU funding options, learn from the experiences of previous applicants, and discuss the challenges and opportunities involved in submitting project proposals to the ERC.

There will be a presentation by Prof. Dr Lucas Davi, a successful applicant for an ERC Starting Grant. Prof. Dr Rainer Meckenstock and Prof. Dr Gabi Schierning will present the UDE’s ERC Mentoring Programme. The ERC Brunch also offers an opportunity to engage in discussion with Prof. Dr. Astrid Westendorf, Vice-Rector for Research and Early-Career Researchers, and Prof. Karen Shire (PhD), Vice-Rector for University Culture, Diversity & International Affairs.
