How Women Change Medicine: A Case Study in a German Hospital
EKfG-Forschungsforum Gender "Gesundheit - Care - Geschlecht"
Sarah Vader, M.A., ist Gast im Gender-Forschungsforum. Titel ihres Vortrags: "How Women Change Medicine: A Case Study in a German Hospital".

Zum Inhalt: In the last decades, the number of women who participate in medical schools has increased significantly in Germany as well as in other European countries. Does this mean that medicine itself has changed as well? The lecture discusses how the so-called ‘feminization of medicine’ influences Germany’s medical institutions. After discussing the matter of feminization and what it means for an organization to become feminized, some outcomes of a case study in a German hospital will be presented.
