ERASMUS+ - Virtual Reality in Higher Education: Application Scenarios and Recommendations

What is the Erasmus+ Project?

Funded by the European Union, ERCIS partners from University of Liechtenstein (Jan vom Brocke), University of Duisburg-Essen (Stefan Stieglitz) and University of Agder (Tim A. Majchrzak) collaborate to identify potential VR application scenarios and current VR practices in higher education. This will be done by combining the findings of a systematic literature review, market analysis and survey distributed through the ERCIS network. All three universities will then implement VR prototypes in real courses with the aim to elaborate recommendations for lecturers. The project is supported by the ERCIS and University of Nebraska Omaha (USA) as associated partners.
