Applied Lectures

Several applied lecturers provide insight into practical water management. Water managers from regional water boards, for example, teach the compulsory courses of Flood Management and River Basin Management.

Besides basic knowledge of both management disciplines, the students thus gain invaluable insight into the daily practice of how to implement flood and river basin management policies at the water board level. Field trips to water retention facilities and flood management devices will support both hands-on teaching and learning.
