Information
Beschreibung:

Bemerkung:

alter Titel: Seeverhalten und hydrodynamische Belastung maritimer Systeme

Description:

This lecture deals with the seakeeping of ships and the hydrodynamic loads on offshore structures. The linear wave theory, equations of motion for rigid bodies, the modeling of natural seaway and the computation of global and local loads are addressed as well.

Learning Targets:

The students are able to apply state-of-the-art methods to assess the seakeeping of ships and offshore structures, as well as their physical background.
