In this course, participants learn the basics for realizing modern robotics applications. This includes an introduction to creativity techniques, the systematic collection of requirements for a system and the conceptual design of automated solutions. In the course, the fundamentals for the mechatronic design of such systems are learned (e.g. real-time systems, sensors and data buses).
The main focus of the course is the design and development of a robot system in teamwork. For this purpose, a task is presented in the first lecture, which must be solved by the respective teams in the form of a project. During the course the progress of the projects has to be documented and presented continuously by the teams.
During the seminar, attendance is mandatory. Unexcused absence may lead to exclusion from the course!
