Master Seminar (2SWS, 6ECTS) in the winter term 2018/19

Master Seminar: Branching Brownian motion

The seminar consists of two parts:

We will distribute talks during the semester.

Students will learn interesting results and applications of Branching Brownian motion in which particles move in space according to Brownian motion and split into several particles or vanish after exponential waiting times.

How many credits do I get?
You get 6 ECTS as Master Seminar

Students are required to be familiar with the contents of the lecture 'Probability theory II'.

The language of the seminar will be English.
