2nd National Workshop on Non-Linear and Time-Resolved PEEM

A workshop devoted to the efforts about the combination of fs-laser pulses and PEEM.

Welcome Message

The combination of a PEEM with fs-laser systems to exploit nonlinear photoemission mechanisms and to achieve temporal resolution provides a major technical challenge that has so far been achieved only at few places around the world. The goal of this national workshop is to exchange knowledge about the technical issues, the methodical advances, and the investigated phenomena between the various german groups working in the field.

Location

The Workshop will be held in the Gerhard-Mercator House at the Campus Duisburg of the University of Duisburg-Essen. The address is

Gerhard Mercator Haus
Universität Duisburg-Essen
Lotharstrasse 51
D-47057 Duisburg

Accomodation

All hotels around the Campus Duisburg or hotels close to the Duisburg main station are in a convenient location to reach the Gerhard-Mercator Haus. We know of people who were satisfied with

Hotel Rheinischer Hof / Mühlheimer Str. 119 / D-47058 Duisburg (walking distance to campus)
IBIS Hotel / Mercatorstrasse 15 / D-47051 Duisburg
Hotel Friederichs / Neudorfer Strasse 33-35 / D-47057 Duisburg

Poster Sessions

We won't have Coffee breaks, but only Coffee/Poster breaks, i.e. we have poster boards in the room where the coffee is served. We have space for about 10 posters. Please feel free to bring a poster describing your research, so that we can discuss the posters during the coffee breaks.
