Modul VI und Modul VI/1

This lecture course in cultural studies will be concerned with the lasting impact that the events of September 11, 2001 had on the U.S. American nation. From novels to films, from essays to political speeches, and from laws to political movements we will examine ways in which Americans have tried to come to terms with and react to the new situation after 9/11.

A reader will be available after the first class meeting. There will be a midterm and a final examination.
