Call for Papers — International Graduate Student Forum in Korean Studies
The Department of Korean Studies at the University of Vienna will host an international student conference on Korean studies, on Fri–Sat, May 8–9, 2026.
The forum will serve as a platform for inter-university academic exchange where young researchers can present their work and network with their fellow European-based Korean Studies colleagues. It will host MA and PhD students, as well as early career scholars from across Europe.
We welcome submissions from all fields of Korean studies, including (but not limited to) history, culture, economics, politics, and society. If interested, please send us: 1) full name, 2) affiliation, 3) academic degree, 4) research major/topic, 5) contact details, and 6) a short abstract (max. 500 words) to describe your topic. Transportation costs and a two-night hotel stay in Vienna will be covered.
