Our mission is to explore the fundamental mechanisms underlying cardiovascular diseases and to clarify how specific molecular alterations in cardiac cells and disease-related remodeling cause electrical instability and generate arrhythmias and to apply this knowledge to develop new mechanism-based therapeutic approaches.
