Guest Workshop by Prof. Dr. Kenji Kaneko strengthens scientific exchange
As part of the DAAD summer school of the DUHN (German-Ukrainian University Network) project, the University of Duisburg-Essen recently welcomed Prof. Dr. Kenji Kaneko from Fukuoka University (Japan) to a guest workshop. The event focused on modern approaches and applications of high-resolution electron microscopy.
In his specialist lecture, Prof. Kaneko gave exciting insights into current technological developments and discussed new perspectives for research together with the participants. The workshop provided students and teachers from Ukraine with a valuable platform for intensive professional exchange and the development of personal contacts.
Prof. Kaneko has been involved in exchanges with Ukrainian universities for some time and has been active, among other things, as a guest lecturer for lectures and scientific seminars at the Faculty of Physics of the V.N. Karazin National University in Kharkiv.
We warmly thank Prof. Kaneko for his support of the DUHN Program, his shared expertise, and his valuable contribution to international cooperation!
