With a great deal of experience in lightweight structures, retractable systems and complex roof structures Christoph Paech, Managing Director of schlaich bergermann partner (sbp) has been involved in numerous internationally renowned projects, including the rehabilitation of BC Place Stadium in Vancouver, Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi, Stadium 974 and the retractable roof over Barahat Al-Nouq Square in Doha, as well as the Black Sea Arena in Batumi. In his keynote, “Durability assessment and enhancement of membrane structures”, he will share insights into the assessment of long-term performance and approaches to enhancing the durability of membrane structures.
